Goodbye Manuel and Hello Peter!
After over 40 years of dedicated service, we say a heartfelt thank you to Manuel for his outstanding leadership of Wandsworth Community Transport. From its humble beginnings to becoming a leading voluntary sector organisation within the Borough, Manuel’s commitment and vision have helped shape WCT into the valued community service it is today. Although now officially retired, Manuel will thankfully continue in a voluntary capacity leading the WCT Choir, helping to bring joy and community spirit to groups across Wandsworth and beyond.
We are also pleased to welcome Peter Edwards as our new Chief Executive Officer. Peter joins WCT with extensive experience in the voluntary and community sector, having previously led charities supporting older people, community outreach and homelessness initiatives across London and the UK. Peter looks forward to meeting the many individuals and groups associated with Wandsworth Community Transport over the coming months as WCT continues its commitment to serving the whole community under his leadership.
