This new Wandsworth Council-funded minibus service is designed to help people in Roehampton to get around if they have difficulty using public transport. It provides door-to-door accessible transport to a rotating selection of local amenities and destinations. Roehampton Transport Club (RTC) is operated by Wandsworth Community Transport on behalf of Wandsworth Council.
Who it is for
Roehampton Transport Club is most suitable for people who:
- Have some form of mobility limitation (the minibus can accommodate wheelchairs and mobility aids)
- Struggle to carry shopping home, or
- Have no existing public transport option
But, if you have any difficulty using public transport to travel to your destination, RTC is for you.
Exceptions
Children aged under 12 years of age or those under 1.35m tall cannot travel on the minibus due to seating and seatbelt regulations.
There will be no additional support offered, like mobility aids or volunteers to push wheelchairs. If you need this type of assistance you should use our other services. Contact our friendly team to find out more.
How it works
